How do I create my first vault?

In this guide we will take you through how to create your first vault, add a "password asset" and share the vault with a new recipient.

1. Log into www.siforte.com

2. Click on Create Vault

3. Give your vault a name

4. Optionally enter a message

This message will be included in the automated unlock email that is delivered to your recipient(s). This is a great place to explain why they are receiving access to this vault and any other important information that you would like to share with them.

5. Set your Unlock Period

This can be in hours, days, weeks or months

6. Adjust the time period as required

7. Click on Create

Once you have setup the vault details it's time to add your first assets

8. Click on Assets

9. Click on Add New Asset

Assets can belong to multiple vaults, so you have the option to either select existing assets or add new assets on the fly

10. Click on Password

In this case we're going to share a password so we will select that option

11. Enter your password

Note that the password is concealed by default but you can view it using the "eye icon"

12. Click on Add Asset

13. Click on Save

It's always a good idea to save as you go!

14. Click on Recipients

Let's add a new recipient

15. Click on Add New Recipient

16. Enter your recipients name and email address

17. Click on Add Recipient

18. Click on Save

and you're good to go!
